And I shall have no fear
Leap from this earthly wreck
The rope tightens 'round my neck

Death takes hold of me
I cannot breathe or scream
Yet I still think and see
What has befallen me?

I am alive
Though I am dead
There is still
Thought in my head
Please make me blind to this unchanged view
All I can see is this dreaded room

Many days have passed
Still no peace at last
The door creaks slowly open
My family stare, heartbroken

They wail with anguished cries
Tears fill in their eyes
I try to scream for help
But no sound will come out

I'm still here, I'm still trapped in this corpse
I'm rotting away
Please don't leave me in the ground
I'm so alone, I'm so afraid
Oh, can't you hear me? Can't you hear my voice?
God, are you there?
I just want to be at peace
At the bottom of the lid of my coffin I stare
